Mainly a comment to podcast 5, I think another problem with the visibility of the child free is an inherent effect of the family dynamic. People who decide not to have children but are from larger families or have syblings who have or will have children are in a different possition. By loudly advocating a childfree outlook it alters the family dynamic. The childfree person is seen as disparaging the lifestyle choices of parents and syblings of alternate views by speaking out about not having children. Childfree can be seen as a general default for single people, and if in a couple it can be seen as a sensative issue (if you merely don't answer instead of advocate you get asked less because it's assumed to be infertility issues). Many childfree people simply decline to talk about it to avoid arguments that have no fundamental sollution because it would equate with the "your living your life wrong" arguments that generally have no result other than to fracture relationships. I think this is a large factor of why childfree people do not advocate being childfree publicly and should be considered in light of the "how to make the childfree more visible" its innately hard to make someone, who is trying not to have that aspect of their life looked at, move to the spotlight.
